Biography:
Identical twins Camille and Kennerly Kitt are multi-talented professional duet harpists and actresses. Known as the “Harp Twins”, Camille and Kennerly perform internationally as a dynamic acoustic and electric rock/pop/contemporary Harp Duo. Their remarkable talent is now catching the eye of Hollywood producers. Camille and Kennerly appear in 3 feature films in 2012 and 2011 - two of which also feature the twins performing on their harps.
Acting:
Camille and Kennerly landed their first co-starring feature film roles as “Creeporia” in the family-friendly comedy-horror CREEPORIA. CREEPORIA’s writer/director is Emmy-nominated, Hollywood veteran, John Semper Jr. – known especially for animated tv series such as Spiderman, The Jetsons, Scooby Doo, The Pink Panther, Alvin and the Chipmunks, etc. CREEPORIA is scheduled for release in late 2012. The Kitt twins made their Hollywood film debut as the “Merry Christian Twins” in the feature film POLITICS OF LOVE as actors, soundtrack writers and soundtrack performers (harp and vocal). POLITICS OF LOVE was directed by William Dear (Angels in the Outfield, The Perfect Game) and stars Ruby Dee (American Gangster), Loretta Devine (Jumping the Broom, Crash), Gerry Bednob (40 Year Old Virgin), Brian White (Stomp the Yard), and Bollywood superstar Mallika Sherawat. POLITICS OF LOVE was picked up for US theatrical distribution by Codeblack and released in US theaters, Fall 2011, followed by VOD, DVD, and world-wide distribution. Additionally, Camille and Kennerly had roles as “The Marcelli Twins” in the dark teen comedy BLACKTINO – directed/written by Aaron Burns, produced by Elizabeth Avellan (Sin City, Predators, Machete), and starring Danny Trejo (Machete), Michelle Rodriguez (Avatar), Daryl Sabara (Spy Kids), and Jeff Fahey (“Lost”). BLACKTINO premiered at The Paramount Theater on opening night of the 2011 SXSW (South by Southwest) Film Festival in Austin, TX.
Camille and Kennerly have been cast as principle roles in several commercials, including a national US commercial for the Toshiba Tablet and national Japanese commercials for Chupa Chups lollypops, which aired for two years in Japan.

The Kitt twins made their professional musical theater debut as “The Geminae” in the musical comedy A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum by award-winning, professional theatre company: Theatre Nebula. Among numerous short film roles, Camille and Kennerly had lead roles in Nitestar Production’s entry into the Chicago 48 Hour Film Project: “Inside America,” a Mockumentary (comedic mock documentary) about discrimination. The twins also co-starred in a graduate student thesis sci-fi film, “The End of Lost Beginnings,” funded by the Gary Marshall Grant at Northwestern University and filmed in the Michigan Historical Museum. As models, Camille and Kennerly have done commercial photos for several new clothing lines, and for three consecutive years, Camille and Kennerly were cast as live runway models for Seventeen Magazine/JC Penney at “Rock Your Prom” fashion events.
Fun Fact: Camille and Kennerly were profiled on a 1-hour special on Discovery Health TV Channel as “America’s Most Identical Female Twins.”
Harp Duo:
As the world's only known identical twin professional harpists, Camille and Kennerly have a passion and flair for arranging and performing contemporary music for Harp Duet. The Harp Twins perform on identical statuesque 6ft 3in (1.9m) Concert Grand Harps as well as identical modern ebony Electric Harps. The twins were trained classically but their true musical love and passion is playing rock, pop, hip-hop, metal, country, New Age, jazz, alternative, and crossover genres. Camille and Kennerly are known for their remarkable duet harp arrangements of songs by artists such as Lady Gaga, Guns N' Roses, Led Zeppelin, Metallica, Aerosmith, Bon Jovi, Pink Floyd, U2, Journey, Taylor Swift, The Cranberries, Rihanna, Coldplay, The Beatles, Britney Spears, Enya, Johnny Cash, OutKast, P!nk, Deep Purple, The Smiths, Elton John, Joy Division, and many more. The twins also arrange and perform a jukebox of Broadway, Video Game, and Movie Soundtrack hits. In addition to being prolific arrangers, Camille and Kennerly compose and perform their own original pieces for Harp Duet.
The Harp Twins perform together as featured artists for public, private, philanthropic, academic, corporate, and political events. Camille and Kennerly were featured musicians at the Abraham Lincoln Bicentennial Celebration, playing for three events over two days, including a dinner where President Barack Obama was the speaker. Camille and Kennerly also performed for United States Speaker of the House Dennis Hastert's retirement banquet. Other notable duet harp performances include a luncheon where former First Lady Laura Bush was the featured speaker and a dinner event with former Vice President Cheney as the special guest.
Fun Fact: Camille and Kennerly began posting Harp Duet music videos of their rock-pop cover arrangements on YouTube several years ago. The twins have since acquired over 2.5 million total views on their videos in addition to amassing a large worldwide following of their music.
Special Interests:
Camille and Kennerly are Third Degree Black Belts in Tae Kwon Do and are former Tae Kwon Do instructors. The twins are also "Distinguished Experts" in rifle marksmanship. Additionally, Camille and Kennerly have been volunteer companions for special needs children, teens, and young adults for many years. The twins know sign language and volunteered for over 6 years at a monthly Deaf/HOH (Hard-of-Hearing) social gathering. Camille and Kennerly began making American Sign Language (ASL/PSE) cover music videos and have gained a large Deaf/HOH following online. Camille and Kennerly’s Sign Language interpretation music videos have also been used widely for academic teaching and Interpreter training purposes.
Fun Fact: Camille and Kennerly were competitive swimmers for many years as children and both qualified for the Junior Olympics 5 times, competing in all 4 strokes.
Academic:
Camille and Kennerly graduated “Summa Cum Laude” (with highest honors) from a prestigious Conservatory of Music, both with a Bachelor of Music degree in Harp Performance. The twins were on the Dean’s list every semester and earned straight As. Prior to transferring to the Conservatory, Camille and Kennerly completed their last two years of high school while simultaneously enrolled in a music studies program at a local college. While completing the music studies program at the college, the twins were in the Honors Scholar Program, inducted into the National Honor Society Phi Theta Kappa, published authors in the academic journal Essai, held a 4.0 out of 4.0 GPA, and were faculty nominated scholars for both years – representing their college at several state-wide events.
